A 7yr old, an LED Flashlight, and a 15sec Exposure
By Mike Grimmett on Jul 7, 2008 in Photography

A few posts ago I wrote about how to turn your TI calculator into an intervalometer. Well, over the 4th of July weekend (especially ON the 4th) I wanted to play with timed exposures. After a few setting adjustments, I came up with a decent formula for the photo above. Details after the jump.
Here are all the settings of the photo in case you wanna try it:
-Focal Length: 18
-F Number: 3.5
-Exposure Time: 15sec
Obviously you’ll need a subject and an some sort of light source. I’ll be posting more timed exposures in the weeks to come.
